Stepmom delivers special wedding vows to four-year-old – his reaction breaks our hearts

It is always a joy to see two people who are deeply in love begin their lives together and exchange vows.

The guests were expecting to have a fantastic time at US Marine Corps sergeant Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Leehan’s wedding, as was to be expected, but little did they know that they would witness one of the most moving spectacles in history.

Leehan had also written some vows for her stepson Gage before she began reading her own. The adorable little boy was over the moon to see his father get married, and it was clear that he not only liked his future wife but was also delighted with his father’s decision.

She turned to Gage and began repeating her vows to him while his small eyes fixed on Leehan.

Everyone in attendance cried during her speech because it was so heartfelt. Most of the people’s faces were filled with tears of delight, but Gage’s charming response was the star of the show.

He sobbed uncontrollably and hugged his stepmother as he continued to listen to what she had to say.

I want you to be safe, give it all you’ve got, and be a nice person, stated Leehan. She then remarked, “Don’t cry baby,” realizing that the child was finding the emotional experience difficult to handle.

“The last thing I hope you learn is that you are a special boy,” Leehan continued. “You are incredibly intelligent, attractive, and compassionate. Although I may not have given you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you, and you have helped mold me into the woman I am today.

The couple shared their vows after gathering their feelings.

The newlyweds reportedly stayed on active duty as soon as the wonderful ceremony ended. Because they both had to go back to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, they had to postpone their honeymoon.
