It is not new for the public to have strong opinions about particular celebrities’ dress choices. After all, staying in the spotlight requires you to understand that both supporters and critics will closely examine every choice you make, even what to wear.
The Twilight actress Kristen Stewart is no stranger to the spotlight, so it’s possible to say that when she recently stepped out in New York City and rocked a daring outfit that sparked a lot of internet commentary, she knew exactly what she was doing.
The 33-year-old Stewart reportedly wore a cream-colored blouse that left little room for interpretation. The actress accessorized the ensemble with a black purse and a pair of dark red stilettos, exposing her bra and knit underwear.
It should not be shocking that her somewhat exposed dress choice garnered widespread notice on the internet.
Many of Stewart’s followers commended her bold appearance, but their opinions were offset by those who adopted a more critical stance.
Someone said, “She looks stunning.” Love her fresh style and audacity.
One more person said, “Can do no wrong.” Outstanding in every aspect.
“Looking so gorgeous,” a third person said.
“I can’t get over this look!” exclaimed someone else.
It should come as no surprise that other onlookers drew attention to the fact that Stewart was wearing more skin than normal.
A commenter on the internet said, “Someone forgot their trousers.” “This does not look good at all.”
“Don’t understand the recent makeover; the styling doesn’t seem to suit her at all,” said a second.
“We need to stop dressing inappropriately. A third said, “Celebrities should not be seen in public; they can parade around in their homes.”
“She’s become desperate to get attention,” a fourth person asserted.

Stewart is now doing promotional work for Love Lies Bleeding, her most recent film in which she plays a reclusive gym manager who becomes enamored with a bodybuilder with aspirations of greatness.
The Hollywood Reporter recently quoted the Oscar-nominated actress on the film, saying, “I’m really happy with it because people are not super comfortable with a female body thrusting any type of sexuality at you that’s not designed for exclusively straight males.”
