Kelly Ripa’s innate charm and indisputable stunning looks have never failed to spark debates on the internet.
The 53-year-old recently accepted a Disney Legend award, but this caused her to endure a barrage of hurtful remarks about what some saw as a physical alteration.
The talk show host and actress’s alleged history of cosmetic surgery raised the most worries from critics (it’s all her business, but that’s the way the internet works).
At a recent Disney event, Ripa talked about realizing her aspirations and having the opportunity to meet notable people in the business including John Cameron, Angela Bassett, and Harrison Ford.
Although the actress exuded charm as always, it was more her facial traits that sparked conversation than anything she said.
Before we continue, we want to emphasize once more how no one’s appearance—celebrity or not—should ever be fair game for those with nothing but terrible things to say.

In a time when body positivity and kindness are widely encouraged, it is astounding how many people are willing to disparage others and draw attention to their alleged shortcomings on the internet.
I suppose that despite all of its advantages, the internet is to blame for fostering an environment in which people may be cruel without really fear of retaliation, spreading negativity while remaining anonymous behind their own screen.
However, I digress. This article focuses on Kelly Ripa and the publicity she received for wearing understated accessories and minimal makeup.
Critics were quick to jump upon the chance to suggest that Ripa had cosmetic surgery.
“Oh no! On Entertainment Tonight’s Instagram, someone said, “Yet another victim of plastic surgery.”
One more said, “Cheeks are melting 😮.”
A third said, “Kelly, grow old gracefully.”
Another person commented, “Does she have cheek fillers—she didn’t need that.”
“What is holding this woman together😮,” a fifth person wrote.
Alright. Obtain fillers. Obtain Botox. Why then do you want to appear so “worked on” that you appear to be a more plastic, altered version of yourself? Sincerely, a sixth person said.

We can only assume that Kelly has the will to brush aside the naysayers and hope that their unpleasant remarks don’t ruin the memories of the evening she spent being formally dubbed a Disney Legend—an accolade that recognizes her achievements to the entertainment industry.
After accepting the prize, Ripa made a joke, saying, “I know what you’re thinking,” to the crowd. Why her? What has she ever accomplished? She never even comes here.
