Charlie Luske stunned everyone with his amazing talent during his blind audition on The Voice Holland. The judges were so taken aback by his performance of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” that they pressed their buzzers before he had even completed the opening line.
The song, which was first recorded by Betty Jean Newsome and James Brown in 1966, peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and at the top of the Billboard R&B Chart. Its title is a smart reference to the 1963 comedy “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.” Even though it was a difficult song to perform, Charlie lived up to its legendary fame.
In addition to his talent as a singer, Charlie is well-known in Holland as an actor and television host. His father encouraged him to begin vocal lessons when he was twelve years old, and it is evident that his hard work paid off.
He even published his own single, “Nobody’s Guy,” and advanced to the semifinals of The Voice Holland. His performance is absolutely amazing, and his potential is evident. Watch the entire video below and let us know what you think in the Facebook comments section!
