When Collabro first walked the stage, several audience members couldn’t help but roll their eyes, maybe because boybands were so prevalent on Britain’s Got Talent. However, it became evident in a matter of seconds that they had misjudged these children.
The group’s five members, Michael Auger, Jamie Lambert, Matthew Pagan, Thomas Redgrave, and Adam Bernardo, had hardly known each other for a month prior to their audition. But their performance was really outstanding. They received a well-deserved standing ovation from the audience as they sang “oeStars” from the musical Les Misérables.
After that, their success persisted. Collabro signed with Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco Music, after winning the 2014 series. They have now recorded multiple albums, traveled widely around the UK and Europe, and frequently play to sold-out audiences.
