Baby Eryn Talks to Her Father in an Unexpected “Adult” Way
Babies are frequently perceived as endearing and naive, untouched by the hectic life of adults. However, many people are unaware that babies occasionally have talks that sound surprisingly mature. This was recently demonstrated by one-year-old Eryn Fitzgerald, who, while not yet being able to talk fluently, engaged in a lively conversation with her father.
Eryn spoke to her father in her own baby language in a sweet moment that was caught on tape, acting as if she were addressing him like any other adult child. Eryn pointed to something and folded her fingers one by one, like she was counting, to start the conversation. She then squeezed her palms together and waited for her father to respond.
Her father jokingly said, “You’re fooling me.” Unfazed, Eryn carried on using her baby lingo. “Then what?” her father inquired in jest as she slowed down her sentence. Eryn continued as a result, and her father said, “Unbelievable,” while she scratched her head.
The child was obviously delighted by this exchange and continued to ramble as if she were making a point. Her father was gentle with her through it all, talking to her in a manner that resembled an adult exchange.
Eryn seemed worn out from her “talk” as she collapsed into the ground at the conclusion of the lighthearted conversation. It serves as a reminder that infants have their own thoughts and desires despite their inability to completely express them. All they require is a little perseverance before their teachings are understood.
